Accessing Amazon Workspaces

Amazon WorkSpaces should already be installed on your workstation. If you do not see the icon on your desktop, you can either download and install the client or inform your team lead.

If you did not receive your username and password, inform your team lead.

Registering Amazon WorkSpaces for the First Time

1. When you access Amazon WorkSpaces for the first time, you will obtain a registration screen.
   
2. Enter the Registration Code WSpdx+6GK2DE (it is the same code for all agents).
3. Click the Register button.

Logging in to Amazon WorkSpaces

1. Double-click the Amazon WorkSpaces icon from your desktop.
2. Enter your username and password.
3. Click the Sign In button.
   
4. You are now logged in to your virtual desktop, which is isolated from your personal workstation.
   
5. If the instance is a new one, or if the instance has been rebuilt, you may be presented with a Network side panel. Click Yes to allow your PC to be discoverable by other devices in the network.
   

NOTE: Amazon WorkSpaces instances automatically go to sleep one hour after you disconnect. If the instance is in sleep mode, logging in will automatically resume the instance. This may take some 90 seconds to complete at which point the instance will be presented.
