In the eComFax web portal, the customer can specify the retention period and how long documents should be archived. 30 days comes free of charge in any subscription. However, the customer may want to increase this period to any other range. For example, healthcare or financial industry regulations may require companies to keep documents stored for at least 5 years.
- Ask the customer to go to the My Apps page from the Marketplace and click on the eComFax tile.
- Click the Configuration menu.
- Click the Delivery menu.
- Update the Custody Period field.
